In the summer of 2009 I was given referral to Jed Silman – Eagle Electric thru my site survey and layout crew. Upon contacting Jed, we arranged a meeting at my home site to discuss our project. At that point, we became acquainted with Jed and within a few days, he gave us an initial quote of electrical services along with several options for consideration.

Jed gave me a couple of reference jobs in progress and I visited one in the electrical wiring stage. That owner was very satisfied with Jed’s design and progress work. In my observation, the work met up with my expectations as well. After reviewing two other electrical firm’s proposals, I gave Jed the go ahead on our job.

When my wife and I met with Jed to discuss our final design wants and needs, Jed was able to provide many design elements that we had not thought about.

Just a few of these were:

Using a dedicated light over our kitchen island double sink with provision for light switch with outlet also on the island cabinet. This was a valuable light to use without having all the can lights on in our kitchen. Another element was a "motion sensor light control" for our master closet. With the ability to set the time-on duration, the closet lights are on only when the control senses movement in the room. He also suggested use of this type switch in the two car bay of our garage. Another advantage detail was to select wall light fixtures for all other closets and mount them above the doors. That way all material storage would be away from the light fixture. This is very ingenuous when you think about it. Jed provided other "option" selections that met with our contemporary house design. Without going into further detail, the foresight Jed offered was greatly appreciated.

When we got started at the initial electrical "rough-in" stage, Jed and Dan did everything from main panel on house (with block out for brick application) to final installation of our ceiling fans and finished light fixtures.

The Branson Electrical Inspector had high compliments for Jed’s design, installation work and performance. The electrical passed without any modifications or rework.
